For anyone who is interested, i've started a wiki page with some information about fixing broken cricut machines. The only button that i can click on is the activate. I did actually get it to work on cricut by creating a negative (black background and white image) using my matlab script i wrote. After many questions and trying anything suggested on the board, i finally got my cricut to sort of work. So it seems to be working now, but too many. Anyone know why my cricut would be freezing up all of a sudden? I'm looking for some feedback and help. Both with a cutting file (from a trusted source) as well as a font from my computer.
